Fortnite Mobile on Android has finally been announced. Samsung and Epic Games made it official today during the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Note 9. We reported on this about 2 weeks ago. Epic Games has announced that Fortnite Mobile for Android will be exclusive to Samsung Galaxy smartphones like the Samsung Galaxy S7/S7 edge, Galaxy S8/S8+, Galaxy Note 8, Galaxy S9/S9+, Galaxy Tab S3, and Galaxy Tab S4. After an initial exclusivity period, it will be available for more supported Android phones. Samsung Galaxy Note 9 and Galaxy Tab S4 owners will get an exclusive Galaxy skin in-game.
Device Exclusivity
Fortnite Mobile will be exclusively on the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 and Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 for the first 30 days after launch. After that, it will be exclusive to compatible Samsung devices for an additional 60-90 days. After that, it should finally be available to more devices, but only those that meet the requirements. The game will not be available in the Play Store. Instead, it will be available from Epic’s website.

Samsung Galaxy Note 9 users won’t just get exclusive access to Fortnite Mobile. Epic will be giving away 15,000 V-Bucks to anyone who pre-orders the Galaxy Note 9. Fortnite is a free game, but in-app purchases can greatly improve your chances of winning. You can unlock skins, dances, emotes, gliders, pickaxes, and much more.15,000 V-Bucks will go a long way towards starting your collection.
Galaxy Skin for the Galaxy Note 9 and Galaxy Tab S4
On top of the V-Bucks, Galaxy Note users will also have access to some exclusive skins. One such skin goes along with Samsung’s “Galaxy” theme. The skin is codenamed “Celestial” and it’s a male skin. Here’s what it looks like:

How to Install Fortnite Mobile on Samsung Galaxy
If Galaxy Apps: As previously mentioned, Fortnite for Android is not available through the Google Play Store. Epic doesn’t want to fork over 30% of all net profits. Instead, you’ll have to use the Galaxy Apps Store that is pre-installed on your Samsung device. It works essentially the same as the Play Store.
